A closed-off 1990s layout opened into a bright, vaulted kitchen and family room — with a primary bath to match.
Our approach
Our agents pulled recent sales on the street and showed that updated homes were selling well above theirs. We removed a bearing wall, vaulted the kitchen ceiling, added a 12-foot marble island and carried new oak floors, trim and lighting through the main level. Upstairs, the primary bath got a deep green vanity, marble shower and brass fixtures.
The result
A light-filled main floor built for family dinners and holidays — and a home that now sits comfortably at the top of its neighborhood’s price range.
