Our approach
We opened the ceiling to reveal the original beams, restored them, and rebuilt the room around a long butcher-block island with seating for four. Open shelving and a deep farmhouse sink keep it true to the house.

A kitchen that feels like it has always been there — and finally works for the way the family cooks and gathers.
